Boost for Arsenal and Tottenham as Italy star nears AC Milan exit

first_img Stephan El Shaarawy in action for AC Milan 1 Arsenal and Tottenham have been put on red alert after reports in Italy claimed AC Milan are willing to sell Stephan El Shaarawy in the summer.The 22-year-old took Serie A by storm during the 2012/13 season, scoring 19 goals and finishing as Milan’s top scorer.However, since then the forward has struggled with injuries and he has scored just two goals in the past two seasons.That though has not put off the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham, who would reportedly be willing to give El Shaarawy the chance to rejuvenate his career.And, according to Tuttosport, the Premier League duo have been put on red alert after Milan admitted they would part with the Italy international this summer.The Serie A club are hoping that the sale of El Shaarawy will provide the necessary funds to strengthen the whole squad.last_img
